Q1. Why does the unit keep chirping?
A1: It's mean the SD card with wrong: full, damaged. Please clean your SD card or change a new SD card.
Q2. The video playback is choppy and not a smooth playback is there a way I can make the video quality better?
A3: 1. Because of the video codec of 4K is different to others, the computer configuration and media player have higher demand, please choose the media player that support 4K video, like VLC or PotPlayer.
2. Make sure that the Micro SD card fits the requirement. We recommend to choose SANDISK/Samsung/Kingston brand Micro SD card (Class 10/U1 or above).
Q3. The dash cam always be on charging to keep recording. It is not good.
A3: The dash camera has an internal battery that is very small and is only meant to last 3-5 minutes only when it is fully charged. NO matter which brand of dash cam you will buy, their internal battery will be no different. If we place a larger battery into the camera such as our smartphones, then during the summer days the temperature inside the car can exceed the limit which can cause the battery to explode and can cause a fire. Therefore due to the fire safety, we can't place larger batteries in the dash cameras
Q4. The camera automatically shuts down after one-minute-recording. What should I do?
A4: 1. Check whether the car charger we provided is loose.
2. Please check whether the red dot to the upper left keep flashing, if it is, it means that the screen saver function makes the screen go black, but the dash cam is still recording.
3. Please turn off parking monitor to have a try, because the parking monitor function being triggered to power on and record 15 seconds then power off when detecting a vibration after dash cam is powered off.
Q5. Why dash cam saying "Please format the card" and automatic switch on/off?
A5: When the MicroSD card memory is full, the camera will not be able to recognize the available memory space for recording, then the dash cam will display a reminder banner on the screen to remind you to check all the locked videos in the MicroSD card, save the useful ones in the computer, and after that, directly format the MicroSD card for use again.
If you turn on the parking guard and motion detection while driving, the dash cam will switch on and off repeatedly because the built-in G-sensor will treat any bumps on the driving road as possible crashes and activate the parking guard. And the dash cam will record a lot of unnecessary video, which can easily fill up your MicroSD card.
The solutions to the problem is as follows: 1.Adjust the G-sensor to “LOW”. 2.Turn off motion detection and parking guard.
