Q1: Do I need to turn on the dash cam every time? Is the WiFi need to be connected then can start to record?

A: No. The dash cam will be automatically turned on/off, along with your car engine. You don't need to connect with WiFi manually after first use, our dash cam will automatically on when car is started.

Q2: Can I view the video after off the car?

A: Please download the video to your phone in advance before the engine is off, or no. The built-in WiFi is connected for limited distance.

Q3: What if the phone can't connect with WiFi? Is the Fitcamx APP safe and stable to use?

A: The WiFi can only be connected when the engine is on and dash cam at working. If still not, please provide us with the screenshots of connecting with WiFi & page of Fitcamx APP, we will confirm and feedback to you soon. The previous APP was public version and had poor stability, now the new version Fitcamx APP is developed by ourselves which has high stability and easy to operate, no ad. You can search Fitcamx at Google Play or iOS APP Store to download it.

Q4: Why my car doesn't have parking monitor function? Can I upgrade to this function?

A: This function depends on whether your car's power plug can supply electricity continuously, which is designed by car manufacturer. If it can be powered continuously, there is parking monitor function, otherwise no. To upgrade with parking monitor function, you need to order an extra fuse box cable, please search asin: B099W795GF. And we are unable to provide specific installation tutorials since the position of fuse box and power supply of fuse are different on vehicle models, you need to use a multimeter to test power then can determine the connect position of this cable. It is recommended to find a professional to install the fuse box cable, or search relevant video tutorial. (The parking mode does not record continuously 24/7 hours, and dash cam will only start recording in case of serious collision)

Q5: Why dash cam got heat?

A: It is normal situation. Fitcamx camera is under strict high temperature test and can work normally at -20°C to 85°C (-4°F-185°F), please rest assured. 1. The surround space of camera is small and also other original parts of your car near it, which will cause high temperature. 2. The installation position of camera is nearby the windshield, which also causes high heat under direct sunlight during day.
