In the Gobi desert a Pelican customer had a flat tire on his truck. He took the jack and used a Pelican case as a block for tire changing. The case handled the load of the vehicle without any problem.

After a massive explosion an armored car was completely destroyed. The Pelican case inside was fine though and stood up against the impact of the explosion and flying shrapnel.

A Land Rover with Pelican cases on top tipped over, while driving up a steep slope. It rolled down sideways until the car stopped, lying on the side. Nothing inside the Pelican cases was damaged.

After a terrifying sea plane accident, everyone survived unharmed, the gear sat in a Pelican case underwater over 9 hours. When recovered everything was intact with nearly zero water inside the case.

A plastic kayak, with a Pelican box mounted on deck, became caught in the ice pack and was thoroughly steamrolled. Many items in the kayak were crushed, but the Pelican case was unscathed.

After a horse fell from the track into the water, a case had been dragged underwater and banged against rocks for a good while. The expensive gear inside was completely unharmed and dry!
