Very interesting molding and morphing here.

Makes me think of Cate Blanchett from Lord of the Rings, a mix of magic and ethereal beauty.

Well done OP.

Her greatest guardian taken

The blade that never cuts

The fire that never weeps

Oh, the green tendrils

Smoke on the waters

I shall perish

If only you could falter

She who weeps at the foot of the mountain

Upon the lake of water pure

The blade that never cuts ā€” stolen

Past the fiery skies azure

Where has it gone,

To lands unknown

Alas I have finally found it

In a place where

Green tendrils perish

Smoke on the waters wither

And beasts of iron roam the land, seas and skies

Lies the forgotten legend,

Faltered.

Very nice surrealistic vibe to it. As the art market moves away from figuration and realism (finally) you'll see a bigger push into Surrealism as a bridge between figuration and Abstraction. You can already see a push towards interiors without people which is another bridge. Anyhoo, that stuff is really boring for most people.

I really like it OP! It reminds me of Angles Agrella and Ewa Juszkiewicz without being derivative.

So amazing. The smooth texture is stunning. The color and bare branches give it a cool crisp feeling. It sort of reminds me of marble sculptures. Stunning work.

Holy cow, you accomplished this with alcohol ink?! I'm blown away. It's stunningly gorgeous!

3

Tasty_Needleworker13 t1_itoa74f wrote

I too am flabbergasted as to how this was done with only alcohol ink. OP did you distill some of it down? Are you making your own inks? Where did you buy this white? itā€™s incredible.

1

hnrkhrvth OP t1_itp1axj wrote

Alcohol inks in this case just means markers i felt very sophisticated when i posted so i wrote it that way, basically it was done with copic markers. Sorry for not being clear :) The white is mostly the paper and for the small highlights i was using acrylic pant from a tube. Hope i was able to clear some things out a bit and if you have more questions please feel free to ask

1

Tasty_Needleworker13 t1_itqcx47 wrote

Using copic markers isnā€™t quite the same as alcohol inks. Lovely drawing none the less.

Stable diffusion is the name of an AI that generates images from a prompt, I recommend that you try it. The AI is really good at merging different concepts together and being very original although there are some defects in the generated images (unlike yours).

What type of color scheme would this be considered?

1

Not sure what you mean :( If you could be more specific i would try to answer your question.

1

Zman8969 t1_itn08xk wrote

Well it doesn't appear to be a complementary color scheme nor a primary. All the colors feel very close in relation, mood, and atmosphere. A serious and contemplative/reflective mood is imparted upon me.Would it be an analogous color scheme? I can't necessarily explajn better than to say color schemes I know it isn't.

Whether a name can be put to it or not, the color choices are celestial.

Alcohol inks are a specific type of ink that people use with brushes and sometimes in pens instead of water based inks or water color.

Good lord, what a combo. But to be fair when we were kids, about twen- holy crap, TWENTY YEARS ago, where did the time go? Anyway we found this hemp plant and one guy from our friend group suggested we smoked it, but would need to soak it in acetone first. Thankfully I didn't have any, so I used my stepdad's aftershave. I mean it tasted... fine. Obviously didn't get us high but we all pretended we did. Or maybe it did, who knows, that was my first experience with something even remotely weed-related.
