Gilgamesh's Flower | 16" x 20" (41 x 51cm) | Oil on Linen

At the end of the epic, after finally retrieving the flower of youth from the bottom of the sea, Gilgamesh stopped at a cool spring for a bath. The scent of the plant spread and quietly a snake snatched the flower for itself.

So beautiful! I wanna tell you something else but I just love it without any excuses) oh, actually, I like a lot how the snake and the flower separate and embrace at the same time. I mean artistically by colors value and stuff... It's very neat!

Such brilliant art!!! I absolutely love this. Perfect contrast, the subjects are clear and distinct but they delicately blend into the background nicely. the colors are incredibly pleasing to the eye. I think the texture you added on the flower and the snake perfectly adds that pristine, magical touch to the painting. :)

Just fantastic. Gorgeous work!!
