Lol it looks nothing like the Aurora Borealis idk why people are saying that. The Aurora Borealis isn't freaking magenta. Regardless this is fucking beautiful. Well done.

Ahh I do see some pictures with some magenta aurora when searching "southern lights". Neat. I stand somewhat corrected.

I was kinda blown away when I first learned as well! Always wanted to go to Australia and when I saw pictures of the southern lights it kinda cemented that goal!
