Beautiful work. I love all the spirals and colors making up the strands of hair that the sparrows are pulling on. The look in the eyes, has quite the pull as well, not sure if it is more of being lost in thought or wondering or melancholy a mix of these even? What types/brands of ink did you use?

Yep that's intentional ,there are 22 million people on the sub , each time i post ,the reach of the posts vary from 50k to 500k people . Assuming that 10% of that 22 million are active on this subreddit, that would be about 2 million people , i have only reached a 1/4th of that no.

Of coarse! What u do takes another of work people don't realize. It's your outlet and that's so important to your mental stability people see it as pretty and don't understand the underlying layers of what that art does in your life and even others. I really like it, it has:

  • Many details, keep discovering but not overwhelming

  • A positive message, with a sad note

  • Creative blend of styles, abstracted and realistic

  • Fresh color combinations, natural and unexpected

I find contradictions and paradoxes fascinating and this has a lot of that going on.

Ink is very similar to watercolor in application, and compared to watercolor it is less opaque.

The tight boundaries you see here , like the hair is done in pencil , and hand in colour pencils, whereas the birds are outlined in ink
