This shows ridiculous talent in such a visually simple piece wtf. The ability to trick the mind so thoroughly that a drawing of a card still looks unmistakably folded and creased. Great job.

Op this is wonderful! If it’s okay to ask, how large is this piece? The details like the lined texture is insane to me

My sister is an addict and a gambler, and my little nickname for her, a play on words, has always been, “the Highest Card in the Deck.” Eventually, I want to have the “A” and spade beneath it tattooed on my outer wrist in her memory. Needless to say, this piece is viscerally moving to me. Thank you so much.

Very interesting with the texture of the crumpled card. Very minute detailing within the spade. Would like to know more what spades mean. Ace of spades

OP’s understanding of perspective and shadow is astonishing. Maximum effort, Beautifully done.

i’ll say.. yes, it’s a realistic playing card. but the contrast isn’t right. the “shadows” look like they’re actually apart of the card. they don’t look natural.

It would be funny if the card said "made in china"
