What is the tell? I am genuinely curious

Its everywhere.

The first thing I noticed was the weird ball in the middle, its close to correct, but wrong in a way that doesn't convey or add anything. Like its not "melting" or "covered in blood" or subtly hiding a face or anything. Its just "wrong" for no apparent reason which is weird since it is a centerpiece.

Next is the wildly inconsistent level of detail, often with sharp transition. Look closely in just a few spots and you will quickly see the detail go from near realism to extremely blurry, again, for no apparent reason.

Its just stuff like that that, if done by a human, would have more meaning or at least consistency.

Blender has recently had an AI pic-to-pic like feature added (modded? idk I'm not an artist and I don't know blender or PS) so maybe that's what Andres meant, but I doubt it.

first thing i noticed is the writting "Qatarusx"? IA has its own alphabet and often create wierd words. aswell the typography isn't regular

The main tell is how parts of the image that are supposed to be on different layers and conceptually separate are "gooey" and melting into one another. Also there are bits of weird random garbage. Like some tiny shadowy figure inside the sun. Birds that don't look like birds. Tiny "hair"-like stuff sticking out of things. Garbled type. Etc. All of this needs to be cleaned up for it to be considered finished work. But the composition is good, the image is powerful and conveys a message (if a little blunt). The piece has good "bones" (heh), just needs finishing touches.

So, how would you actually use AI to generate this artwork? Is there a program where you can input the command "Paint me the fifa wc trophy with vaguely Doha looking skyline in the background and make the whole thing positively GHOULISH" and get this as the output?

Absolutely. You might not use those exact words, and the results will be different every time, but this is the way.
