Laying here with my unsleeping newborn in the hospital and could have sworn this said “pirate giraffe artists”. I’d watch that.

Good luck ever getting sleep again! I've been in a constant state of delirium for 7 years. My 4 yr old has woken 3 times at night and my 1 yr old has pretty much decided to take a permanent residency in the middle of my bed.

Everytime I see Pollot's work I need to do a double take because it's iterative of Martin Whatson and think it might be a MW

Based solely on these two pieces, I much prefer Pollot’s take. The extra effort to incorporate the graffiti style into the original picture makes it feel more like a transformative work, where Whatson’s is just layered on top and feels messy as a result.

Pollot put in work and, while I'm not a painter, I don't think interpreting something with oil is that easy.

For some reason I cannot read this type of graffiti lettering. Wish I could.

Wouldn’t the paint make the sails heavier therefor making the ship heavier and needing more wind to move?
