I've added it in Lightroom, its the grain texture effect (you can also and this type of grain in Illustrator but it makes the file super large so I prefer Lightroom)

I spent a long time looking at this. What I have always loved about vector art is that it is infinite resolution, but this image actually looks better for the damage you’ve done to it.

Good lesson in designing for an audience and not for perfection.
