20 inches. Base is 5 inches of that.

And yeah, most of of it was done in parts vs carved.

Did you create an armature and build out the sections with filled material to use less polymer clay? How long did you bake each section and for how long? Love Helper. This piece is really interesting, but I’m also trying to make larger pieces myself. Sorry for all the questions!

I wish I had created armature. Or planned it out ahead of time… it would’ve saved me a lot of work.

I worked on it over a couple of weeks. 20 or 30 minute chunks here and there. Baking parts along the way, scrapping parts, making new ones.

Head is foil filled. Neck is foil with a wire through it that fits into a hole drilled in the head and the bust. Bust part is modeled around a 15.5 fl oz aluminum can on top of a small peice of wood.

Pedestal is molded around a prescription bottle, mason jar lids and a peanut butter lid.
