This is amazing! This looks so good. Damn. . . Please don’t stop.

I just randomly came to /r/art today and saw this and it’s amazing.

That is wonderful. Your stitches for the fur make me want to pet it. The color blending is beautiful. Well done!

Love it, thought I was on the r/Embroidery subreddit! The creative coloring makes it look underwater. Fantastic job in stitching and design! Particularly impressed with the whiskers, did you use a whipped backstitch of like... 1 thread? : )

Thank you! The whiskers were done with some stiff quilters cotton thread I found in my sewing kit. It's basically the stiffness of actual whiskers so each one is just a loose straight stitch that I didn't pull all the way through the fabric.

Excellent work, and I love your colour choices! Also what an interesting fabric, may I ask what it is?

We don’t have a Jo-Ann’s here, I’ve never seen the fabric. I’m curious though, since you chose a blue fabric, which came first? Were the colours you chose to use for the otter because of the blue fabric, or vice versa?

The 'catchlights* of the eyes really add realism.

Veri nicely done.
