This is so incredibly gorgeous. It reminds me of Guardians of Ga'Hoole since the main character is a male barn owl, and those are very very fond memories for me.

9 hours for this quality of work? As a non-artist that can’t draw, that is absolute wizardry to me. If you asked me to guess how long this took you, just by looking at it, I’d imagine like 3-4 weeks. I clearly have no idea haha.

Haha, I do spread out the process over multiple weeks, so I can get back to it with a fresh eye each time. But pastel pencil itself works relatively quickly compared to other media!
