This is wonderful! Is the splatter around the bird acrylic or is that watercolor as well?

It's all watercolour except the white its guache (I can't remember how it's spelt 🤔) I use the windsor and newton one to fill up a pan on my pan set. The watercolours are Roman szmall Aquarius pan set, I love how bright they are. Thank you.

Getting watercolor to look this... intentional, just evades me. I can get the desired textures and definition with pretty much every other paint. But I can never seem to get watercolor to come out how I am picturing it.

This is fantastic by the way.

I have a booklet on watercolor tricks I can send you photos of, if you like. It's for little kids though, so not the best.

Aww thank you so much, it's confidence I think and it's gained through practice. It's tough but once you get it it becomes natural. I wish all you all the best just keep painting x
