There's either eternal existence, which means an afterlife, or there's "Nothingness" However Nothingness is the only thing that doesn't exist so as long as existence exists for everything else, Nothing is not capable of existing. Nothing also has always been and always will be nothing, it's an absolute impossibility. Obviously existence must continue after your death, which means you will continue some kind of life, even though it may be through eternally dreaming or some kind of heaven.
