I hate this. There's no "one" left wing, and no "one" right wing". It's possible to agree or disagree with people on a number of issues without being on a side. Economics, social issues and the Human Studies don't have to be inextricably linked.

But to answer your question, as somebody who's an affirmed Socialist, avid affirmer of Women's Rights and huge believer in a Welfare system ,I believe trans issues are a mental health problem.

Trans peoples brains work much more similarly to the brain of their preferred sex over the one they were born as. How is that a mental issue.

Gender is a behavioural preference. Sex is underlying biology. That's the difference between neurological and biological. Behaving as a particular sex does not make you that sex.

Which transgender means they are behaving closer to their preferred gender. No trans person is saying that they are no longer the sex they were born as. Just not the gender they were raised as.
