Sitting at home one day and heard someone running up from my (ground floor) basement. Expected it to be my mum so I looked over to the top of the staircase but nobody came up. Went and looked and nobody there. I'm certain I heard someone RUNNING up the stairs, it was so loud. I dont believe in ghosts or anything so I know there is a rational explanation for it but it scared the fuck out of me
