People hate change. Every time we get a new DVR or BluRay, or whatever, my wife freaks out because she'll need to "learn a new remote."

It spies on you, ruins your attention span, makes you unproductive, and it can turn into an addiction, humans are not built to just sit there and use their fingers scrolling all day

You learn all there is to know about one technology, and they change it.

That’s actually why the older generations are more prone to hate new technology, because their learning abilities have diminished while they can’t rely on what they learned in the past, which is stronger.

Spying for sure and fact that humans are overly reliant on technology. I know some people that can last longer without air than without their cellphone.

Technology isn't the problem, but rather people. This is my view.

It's possible to use technology without getting absorbed into it. But nobody really cares to emphasize this aspect of tech usage, we just arrogantly indulge ourselves and fry our dopamine receptors, then complain about why everything in real life is so boring and slow
