Because girly men is the in thing it seems. "Its just the way we are" is acceptable for every group except straight white males that act like men.

Not all straight white men are fuckwads.

If you think that's what being a man is, you're the problem.

Who said anything about men not making good decisions? Dont be so presumptuous

You did. You presumed men "acting like men" is unacceptable.

That's far from the truth.

Men acting like fuckwads is unacceptable.

If people are calling your behavior unacceptable, it's not because you're a man.

Reddit is a far left echo chamber filled with neckbeards and people that dye their hair strange colors in order to be "unique". Most of them dropped out of community college because they were "too smart." So basically reddit is a sanctuary for left wing non-sense

Its a reflection of society (as we are all a part of it). Honestly i think reddit is an amazing social experiment.

Even accepting that what they have there is misandry, I don't think single subreddit with 250k people browsing it is "common" when you consider that there are 52 million daily users of reddit as a whole.

Yeah, I rarely use reddit so I'm not sure what qualifies as a big subreddit or not but when you put it that way, I can see how it isn't as "common" as I believed.

Because men have, for almost all of human history, treated women like they are lesser… and now the scales are being balanced.

Depends what you define as misandry. Perhaps you are referring to some of the comments on posts of women venting about their husbands. Sometimes, these not-so-flattering generalizations about men come up in life. My therapist, for example, responded to my complaints with “men just need to have things laid out explicitly for them, they don’t notice things unless you point it out. It’s just something you have to live with, it’s just the way most men are”, and she’s not the only therapist who I have heard give this advice. Misandry is not good, of course, but sometimes certain issues don’t really have an answer beyond “men do be like that”
