i dunno ive been seeing more posts from people saying they are nostalgic for it so im trying to understand wtf they were for

Nah everyone was on edge. People became even fatter and lazier. The tension was so high everywhere that I couldn't even go to the grocery store without thinking I was going to get attacked for something dumb like toilet paper.
