We were an "essential" household, so I don't get it.

Being non-essential is quite nice though. I still haven't been back to work.

She proved to be a hardworking, dedicated true professional; she surrounded herself well, she fostered partnerships to create interesting pop moments, and she even used bad things (such as people mocking her choreography) to her advantage. Her brand is more powerful than ever. Her future appears to be promising.

I'm one of those people. The first year of the pandemic was pretty great for me, my job had less work so everything was more relaxed. I also got to work from home full time which meant that I slept more/better and my mental health drastically improved during lockdown. Since restrictions have lifted and I'm back in the office I've noticed a pretty decent decline in my mental health.
It also helps that everything I enjoy doing is in my house and I never want to leave home. I still don't understand why people dislike being home.

I honestly haven't heard or encountered anyone who has nostalgia for the last two years. I think for most people it's too soon for that, and most of us are either still adjusting to the most tumultuous period this new century has had thus far. A lot of people are still in it.

Why? It was a shitty time

Nah everyone was on edge. People became even fatter and lazier. The tension was so high everywhere that I couldn't even go to the grocery store without thinking I was going to get attacked for something dumb like toilet paper.

Who would have nostalgia for being locked down lol? This is a loaded question that implies there are people who liked it... some people just actually understand facts about medical science and chose to be smart.
