This is usually the opposite for me. Alcohol in particular tastes awful and I wish we would stop pretending it does taste good. One example however is nutritional yeast. I thought it was a hippy dippy cheese substitute, it is now a standard pizza topping for me. Does it taste like cheese? No. Does it taste really good anyway? Yes.
