Yup. A friend online in a community for metal and other adjacent genres (particularly artists popular in the 90s) kept tagging me in posts or sending me messages almost every day about some kind of controversy or other about some artist or other, asking what I thought, if it was still okay to listen to them, blah blah blah...

I got so fucking tired of having to be her entire conscience and make all of her moral decisions for her, I finally told her "look, this is music made by angry people who usually have some kind of issues. A lot of them were bad people, some still are, and if you can't make your own judgements then you might want to listen to something a little safer and less challenging. Stop tagging me in this shit."

She didn't listen, so I blocked her.

Yes, right after New Year’s Eve. We ended the “friendship” and I am not regretting it. She is an asshole and has been one for a long time now, so…long overdue. The funny thing is, we were abroad and staying at the same air b’n’b with our 2 other friends for 4 more days so it was awkward. 10/10 would recommend 🤣
