Send kids to school with extra supplies :) you never know which classmate may need it due to financial issues. Also don’t send your sick kiddos to school!
make sure they get plenty of sleep and arrive at school rested, don't text them during the school day (kids are constantly getting texts from parents -no child has that many emergencies everyday -it is a huge distraction), and provide a lot of positive feedback to help motivate kiddos.
Elder cousin is a teacher for special needs kids. But she says in general, teach your child to be nice and know the world doesn't revolve around them. That has to first start at home.
When a child is raised like this, it can be hard for a teacher to help them understand taking turns and sharing, and biggest factor for empathy.
