My work car broke down and I was very far away from the city I was staying in for the job. I was in a pretty remote place in northern Canada. A family came out and saw that I was stuck with my dog. They let me stay with them for a few days while my work scheduled someone to come out and tow my truck. It was a wonderful experience learning about a different culture and being so supported
