Certain stress inducing situations, especially the ones involving big changes. I'm going to move to a new apartment soon, for instance, and that is making me feel quite nervous. With that comes overthinking and with overthinking I end up paralyzed.
PD: I'm diagnosed with depression and it's worth mentioning that I already know how to cope with anxiety via doing chores, working and keeping myself entertained, but sometimes the pressure is so big that doing that is not always enough.
What information would make you less anxious about moving to your new apartment?
I believe anxiety is a consequence of not having enough information (by ones own standard)/experience about something.
We can reduce anxiety, but we can't get rid of it entirely. All emotions are useful, even negative ones, there are no bad emotions, just negative and positive ones. We just need to learn how to cope with them.
