That's because the function is the same. My only advice is figure out what amount of force you can take, we got the Theragun and it is great for large muscle groups, but you cannot drop down to a lower RPM setting for soft massaging. It's like a machine gun even at its lowest setting. Takes some getting used to.

Personal recommendation has to be Achedaway, I've got their gun and it has served me faithfully for over 2 years without a notable decrease in percussion, battery life (use daily and lasts over a week), or quietness (my old massage gun sounded like it was full of rocks after 6 months of use. My Achedaway sounds like it did when I bought it).

Edit: not saying 2 years of consistency is bifl material. But from my experience the lifetime of a massage gun maxes out at a decade or less. So many fast moving parts. The fact that this gun is basically perfect after 2 years is a fantastic sign to me

My husband did a lot of research and got the LifePro Sonic Handheld Percussion Massage Gun

Only had it a month but he is very happy with it.

I got one from Costco. If it breaks, their warranty is good and usually you don’t find generic garbage being sold at the store.
