I have a pair of leather Kinco mittens that are super warm. I’ve always liked logger style boots for winter. I’ve been using a pair of Red Wing 219(I believe) for the past 3-4 years.

Yep. I'll also suggest Kinco for warm, durable gloves. Easy to waterproof with sno seal if needed. Most of the cat drivers, lifties and maintenance employees at ski resorts in my area use them. I have been using the same pair for years.
