Hello everyone!

I'm in the market for an electric shaver that's fast and easy to use, even if it doesn't produce the closest shave. I have sensitive skin and tend to get irritation and razor burn from manual shaving, so I'm looking for an alternative that won't cause me discomfort.

I'm not too concerned about getting a super-close shave since my facial hair doesn't grow too quickly. I'm more interested in a shaver that I can quickly run over my face in the morning without having to worry about cleaning or maintaining it too often.

I've done some research on my own, but there are so many options out there, and I'm not sure which brands or models are the most reliable. I'd love to hear some recommendations from those of you who have experience with electric shavers that fit this criteria.

Some factors I'm considering include:

  • Price: I'm willing to invest in a quality shaver, but I don't want to break the bank.

  • Durability: I'm looking for something that will last for a few years at least.

  • Maintenance: I want a shaver that's easy to clean and doesn't require too much upkeep.

  • Speed: I need something that will allow me to get ready quickly in the morning.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and advice. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

electric shaver, electric razor, low-maintenance, sensitive skin, irritation, razor burn, quick shave, reliable, price, durability, easy to clean, speed, morning routine, quality, fast.

Ok I don’t know if I can quite call it buy it for life YET, but I’ve have a Philips One Blade for about 4 years and it’s great. My wife kept stealing it to shave her legs and we ended up getting her one too. Long battery life. Waterproof (can use in shower), powers through hair, and fairly inexpensive.

Not sure if it’ll last a decade plus but I recommend it. Good luck with choice

I’m also a one blade user I’ve had mine for five years so far and no issues.

Why don’t you try Remington? I’ve been using my shaver for several years and it’s still kicking with no performance issues. Close shave, great battery life.

Second for Remington, I generally prefer the "bar" blades that move back and forth as opposed to the circular spinning type blades and out of the handful I've owned I like the Remington's the best.

Your before and after skin care regimen can make a big difference on how your face adapts to shaving, Remington has a dry powder "Facesaver" stick that you can apply before shaving, i had a small promo one, it was nice but not worth buying for me, but if you have skin issues you should try it. Post-shave there is a lot out there but maybe look at Tendskin.

And if stubble is ok, I use a Wahl peanut to shave off anything more than 4 days of growth before shaving, maybe that is the clipper your looking for, it certainly isn't a close shave but it is very handy and will last forever.

I use this Wahl trimmer every day. It's kind of pricey but it's held up for me for the last 2 years with no issues. I got if for $50 bucks at Target, but it looks like Amazon has them for around $65. (Considering inflation that's solid)
