Im looking for a simple quality driver that has a bit holder made of steel and does not have a plastic handle. Im steering away from ratcheting ones because of their size and longevity, except for this one, but i think that it's some kind of nobrand massproduced majingo. Any tips?

Wera Kompakt bitholding drivers are well made. As for handle composition, most drivers these days have plastic handles, I think appropriately.

Yes, i was considering Wera. I might have to accept that most handles are plastic, but plastic ages and becomes brittle while metals can last for centuries if taken care of. Another option would be wooden handle which could easily be replaced.

Quarter inch socket wrench plus extenders would be all-metal. A bit ungainly to maneuver at times, but would last a lifetime.

Yes, that one is nice for consumer electronics, but im afraid i might break it. The bit holder has to be steel. Thanks anyway.

I have been looking at WERA KRAFTFORM KOMPAKT. This is twice as expensive but I would say it’s probably worth it because of the quality materials used.

I have both. The KK25 (or the ratcheting version) is the more practical tool.

Nice! I bought the titanium driver. And the precicision counterpart. Thanks.
