Simplehuman is cheaper than the ones I’ve bought but seems pretty flimsy to me, unless they’ve changed recently. I bought one for my parents and the one in their bathroom is fine but their kitchen one is showing wear.

When did you buys yours?

Grabbed on off eBay. That’s fair, they’re definitely not perfect.

I have had some for a long time. The lid on one stopped working and they sent me an entirely new one since it was still under warranty. This was a few years ago.

I don't think they would qualify as BIFL but they are decent for the price.

My simple human one was great. It’s still working well at my in-laws house. We got an in cabinet one so we passed it on
