Their purses are great, but I think these boots are pretty new so idk how many people will have had a chance to try them. I don’t think they were a thing when I bought my purses 2 years ago.

I’ll just say at that price point it isn’t a good indicator that they would be that good. The stitching on the uppers for one thing doesn’t look that good at all as well as that leather. I guess it comes down to expectations but I wouldn’t expect these boots to be that durable and last that long under any kind of real use. That’s even an extremely low price point for third country manufacturers of Goodyear Welted Boots. You would have to cut corners somewhere.

I also have to say I‘m personally no fan of a fake capote boot that only consists of just stitching across the toe of a boot. But at that price point that’s only bound to be one of many cost cutting measures.

I really like PLG but they should just stick with their bags and not try to branch out so quickly. They are experiencing growing pains, and the quality of everything is slipping. I've heard mixed reviews on the boots so far.

Goodyear Welted is in the webpage, this is BIFL. That pricepoint liekly means they are bottom tier. You should research a topic rather than conclusion shop as you will learn more and not have to ask questions.

My wife is a seamstress and did fabrication work for PLG before they moved all their production to Mexico. Quality has definitely taken hit since.

The welted boots are apparently not going to be made anymore and they’re selling off the remainder now (hence really low prices and limited sizes available). If they’re in your size, I’d recommend PLG and have had positive experiences w them.
