Hello! I am looking for some women's steel work boots that I could buy in a store in London for around 200£. They will be used for paramedic work, so a lot of walking and standing.

Do you have any suggestions? Sadly Red Wings do not carry any steel toe boots in the London store.

Sorry I don't, I usually order online! Shops like Screwfix usually have some in stock you can try on though & they are everywhere down here in the SW!

Not necessarily, we went today to an UK made only shoe shop in London and they showed us some Dr. Martens Royal Mail that were quite heavy.

I think we prefer a composite version, and something more tactical. The Royal Mail boots had almost no ankle support.

I am on a Jim Green kick at the moment, good prices direct from South Africa, and very well made. Proper goodyear welts too. I have 3 pairs, just got their steelcaps. They are pull on and have good insoles.

Most comfortable ones I have are surplus Airforce boots - they are super comfy, and have composite caps - because flyboys and girls are soft! You might want to try that angle too, i've had mine for nearly 20 years, and still going strong
