What makes it so good? I don’t know a lot about cameras.

And you can still use this lens on a modern Leica digital camera.

You’d hope it would still be going strong considering the cost

My father has one of these somewhere. Are they worth anything? Beyond him not really using it much the last two decades, it would be a shame for it to get tossed instead of passed on to a collector who might use it.

It's definitely an art/hobby thing these days, but there's a whole new wave of young people that seem to be fascinated by analogue cameras. Even Polaroid revivals are a thing with some. It's weird. :)

It's what people cry out when they capture social disorder for the ages yet to come, "I got it on film/tape" (most likely some sort of SD card digital media).

As the owner of a film lab, please please please don’t go to a CVS or Walgreens or Walmart. They will not give your film the treatment it deserves. Support a local/smaller lab that actually cares about your film and returns your negatives.

Also, Amazon is horrible for buying film, they’re normally overpriced and the storage conditions of film are not ideal. Film should be refrigerated before sale and Amazon definitely doesn’t do that.

Check out www.brooktreefilmlab.com if anyone is interested in more info!

You’re right, I try to offer advice if I can for film related things. But I also do share my lab quite a bit. I’m not a bot or anything though, and I do attempt to help the community whenever possible. I’m sorry if I offended you or anything, it is not my intention to be seen as a spammer or nuisance.
