My electric wall oven that appeared to be at least 30 years old finally died and you can't even get replacement parts for it. The size of the cutout is 22.5 width, 26.5 height, 23.25 depth. It looks like there isn't much of a selection in this size range, and Lowes is telling me this is a special order item that cannot be returned if it doesn't fit or I don't like it. The brands that seemed to be in my price range were Cosmo, Fotile, Empava, Magic Chef, and Beko which I've never heard of or Sharp, which I have. The Sharp documentation says the depth is 24 inches, which may make it stick out a little extra.
There are multiple widths listed though:
Product dimension: 21 11/16" width (recessed), 23 7/16" width (overall)
Standard installation: Cutout width 22"
Flush installations: Cutout width 23 11/16"
I don't really know what the multiple types of measurements mean. There are no models in the store to measure myself and no one from Lowes is willing to tell me if these fit -- only that I can't return it if it doesn't. Does anyone know how to interpret whether this would fit or not or have any brand suggestions in general for electric wall ovens? I really didn't want to spend more than $2,000 for one of the better known brands, unless it's really worth it. Thanks everyone.
