What do you do for work? A lot of these suggestions are ok, but if you work a job that’s going to beat the shit out of your boots, you’d be hard pressed to find a pair that’s good for both. Thursday boots are nice, but they won’t hold up on a construction site.

Good point… mostly office work so no need for anything like steel toe etc.

Red wings have both, they will also resole your boots when needed.
