I want to wear them out and about or at home chilling, pretty much for anything and I can’t stand the triblend material rolling balls over time or feeling like sandpaper. Thanks!

Note: I am ok to spend moderate cash on a good option but not 54$ a t shirt

Why are people downvoting this? I am asking for help

Kirkland has been pretty good for me if you have a Costco membership.

I bought 3 sets and some more the next size I’m case I get old and fat. Quality is really good compare to others I’ve seen

Like the 6 pack they have?

Paquistino t1_is8p1l8 wrote

Yeah those ones. Especially if you live in a cold climate. They're pretty thick cotton.

NotPostinOften t1_is8rcpn wrote

Yeah, they are long though. I normally wear an XL, but wear a L in the Kirkland T's.

Pretty sure they are the same as Calvin Klein. The bulk Costco shirts used to have a ck logo about 15 years

My husband really likes the black 100% Cotton Champion brand tees I got on Amazon (pack of three). Really thick and soft. It’s been difficult to find 100% cotton in XL tall. I’ve also had luck on Carhart online.

I get solid shirts from a Detroit based company called Gettees

Go for 100% cotton and besides that for stitches quality. Many companies change manufacturers from time to time, do hard to trust a person's quality choice even with a long standing record.

Just try a shirt out in person and look it over, or look over an easily returnable product with free shipping online.

Gustin 2-pack for $36. Made in SoCal and a much heavier weight than most of those listed. Mine have lasted longer than any other tee I’ve purchased.

True Classic tees are super soft, durable, and really are as advertised-better shape and more flattering then the average men's tee.

My go-to is next level CVC 60/40 blend. Great weight, drape, breath and price.

Don’t buy G-Star or Scotch & Soda. I bought a few $50 shirts from them because my husband loves his vintage ones but the quality has gone way down hill and the shirts from both companies were garbage. I found some nice Treasure & Bond 100% slub cotton ones from Nordstrom that were $25 and they were much better quality.

Honestly Hanes Comfort Fit tees. For some reason, they are softer than the comfort soft tees.

I’m not a fan of these. The fabric got rough and piling after a few months.

Strange, I haven't had that problem with the fits The comfort soft, yes agree.

Last summer, Walmart sold these awesome Lee Pima cotton tshirts and they are amazing. They feel great. Great quality. I bought all that were in my size (I probably have 15), including 3-4 black ones. They are out of stock now but maybe next summer they will have them again.

For going out I have a Nordstrom house-brand black t. It’s modal instead of cotton and it’s so comfortable. Not something I’d ever wear for housework, or hanging out by myself; but money well spent.

I recently replaced all my Hanes plain tshirts with bella+canvas 3001. I can't speak to how long they last but they seem well made and are super comfortable. I think they were only like $6 each.

Not sure these are really BIFL, but since the popular comments here are for mass market garbage, I’ll suggest Goodwear as a pretty well made t-shirt.

On Amazon (In Europe at least) there’s a brand called HOM. They make solid quality t shirts. Size down once for a perfect fit. Lasts me years and hasn’t lost quality nor collar elasticity. I buy a pair every summer and keep them in case they stop selling it. The collar is great too

I've had the best luck with Dickies tshirts since the early 90's. Still have a couple shirts from back then that are now blue-ish and full of little holes, but still wearable. I mean, they're 30 years old and still kicking.

Look for mid-weight work tee's.

I have two patagonia T's. You can do cheaper than them. I'm getting another one though so I have 4 shirts to rotate through in a week. Hopefully that'll tide me over for the next 2 years getting through school.

I like bamboo tshirts. I have found various brands on Amazon like bamboo cool and David Archy. They lose wrinkles quickly and fit well.
