Can anyone recommend a nice quality men's waffle robe? I was thinking about Christmas gifts. My boyfriend runs really hot so I'm looking for one of those ones with kind of a lightweight fabric. It would be nice to have a selection of colors other than white. Thank you :)

L.L. Bean has always been my go to for comfy things like this (socks, robes, slippers).

Can confirm quality. I have a men's LL Bean waffle fleece lined robe, and it is nice, heavy, and warm. Looks new as when I got it a couple years back.

EDIT: Just saw the comment about him running warm - they have just the waffle robe, no lining as well.

I love the ones from Parachute! My boyfriend gifted me the cloud cotton one last year for Christmas - it’s perfect and so easy to wash :-)

The first question I'd ask, is he a robe guy? I have to share this article. I read it about once a year. It will give you some recs, make you laugh, but unpack if he's a robe guy. I, for one, am not.

Also, I saw a shout out to the brand Reigning Champ and I have to second it simply because it's one of my favs. The robes look a little boxer-esque and not waffle but if you want a hoodie, it's THE hoody. Get him a lightweight one in black. The interior has this waffle like texture. It's what I wear every morning but I'm like the guy in the article and not a robe guy.

I do have a few items from RC…a few sweatpants, a crew neck and a hoodie. The quality is good on the fabrics. I’ve had luck finding sales on Amazon (I think they sell for Backcountry).

Check Bed Threads out! I recently bought their linen sheets, duvet and bath sheet and they are amazing quality! My partner also runs hot and the linen is the only way he can sleep comfortable in summer. The bath sheet is the same weave as the robe and it really softens up after only a few washes. Turkish linen or cotton robe. Jennifers Hamam is Istanbul has high quality ones and ship internationally. Its not waffle but superb lightweight fabric
