Looking for the best beard trimmers on the market period that allow for small adjustments in length (Something like the Philips Norelco Beard trimmer 9000 Prestige). My beard grows in varying densities that I keep looking mostly even by having slightly different lengths in higher or lower density areas. Thanks!

Philips one blade is great.

I got the top end one with the adjustable comb.

i found this thing to be mostly crap compared to the other one i suggested but its decent for getting small hairs smaller and lining up things.. but i wouldn't shorten longer hair with it even with the guard when i tried it was disappointing..

Wahl. They've got beautiful corded ones. Corded ones last a very very long times. Wahl Detailer maybe?

I really enjoyed my Wahl Peanut. It works great, but I switched to something cordless for convenience.

I've got this Wahl and it's been excellent for years now. Looks good (if that matters), heavy duty build, great accessories, and holds a charge for a long time. Just don't forget to charge it because it's a pain when you go to trim and the battery is dead. Fortunately, it charges quickly.

Had that one. Definitely not buy it for life. The power button stopped working, charging wire had to be bent just perfectly to work, and the moment it got wet (once) it immediately stopped working. Something like a beard trimmer is usually around a sink, so definitely don’t recommend this one.

I use a manscape weed whacker for my hair. I have my hair buzzed every two weeks down to the skin and I have never found a pair of clippers that can handle my thick ass hair and that I can use a long time. I’ve had the weed whacker for almost 6 months now and I still on the same blade which is impressive because my hair is thick.

I bought a Phillips norelco multigroom 9000 series from Costco. It does everything you could ever need when it comes to beard and body trimming. You could probably even cut hair with it. It feels durable and the battery lasts forever.

How does this fair for sensitive skin? I can never go clean shaven because I break out and get red spots.

It gives a closer shave than the multigroom but I will also get ingrowns if I go over it too much. But inuse both because the multigroom is better and faster for bigger areas or more growth and then I use the one blade for my lip and lining up the cheeks and neck :)

I even have the Norelco 7000 (MG7750/49) and it does great. I have a beard that i keep trimmed to a 5, neck to 3, and a clean cut on the lower part of neck and upper cheek area. i was happy with it, but it did die after a short period of time. I bought another, hoping to treat it better, maybe it was the water that damaged it

Yeah I had this the 7000 is not waterproof like the 9000 is. But the wording is tricky and wasn’t clear

I tried lots of brands for a long time (including whal or whatever). Someone bought me a manscaped one and it’s worked very well for probably 3 years now. I keep my facial hair extremely short and it’s the only one that works decently for me.

Whatever you do don’t get one with a sealed in battery. The battery wears out and then they’re useless trash. Should be illegal. Remington I’m looking at you.

Duuuuuuude!!!! I have been wanting to do a BIFL post on my Philips Norelco 7000 series. I have been using it 2 to 3x a week for the last 9 years. It also has a vacuum and works great. I love the adjustments and I am really surprised how long it has lasted. Get it

All of the professional beard barbers seem to gravitate to the BabylisPro. Figured there was probably a reason so I finally pulled the trigger and bought one and yeah it's pretty dope. Much better than my 15 year old norelco. Although 15 years does say a lot for norelco's longevity...
