Winter casual shoes for women

Looking for women’s winter casual shoes. Like a low boot or something without a heel. Fine with shoes ties. Something for jeans, leggings, etc. Any suggestions much appreciated.

I like propet boots a lot. I also have wide feet with a deep toe box so they are especially helpful for that but they also look nice!

Dansko has some low boots I used to wear daily for work at a hotel, very comfortable and never seemed to wear out

I will say that Sierra Trading Post sometimes gets seconds (small errors that are hardly noticeably, if at all) for a reduced price. So keep your eye on that if you’re interested and maybe you’ll find something in your range at some point. 🙂 I’ve also had good luck with Vionic. Also a little pricey but certainly not quite as pricy. Not literally BIFL but mine have lasted 4-5 years so far.

They are my go to for quick shoes during fall, winter, and spring.

One thing I recommend is buying a leather waterproofing and cleaning kit and treating them, especially if you get the suede ones. I've had my pairs for about 6 years and they are going strong!

Consider Olukai. I've owned and loved a pair of their leather slippers for a couple of years now and approve of the durability. They're not Goodyear welt BIFL quality, but they're not in that price bracket, either. They're solid and comfortable.

I have some Trask booties that are really cute.

Hush puppies has some really good boots that are waterproof.

People really seem to like Blundstone a lot where I live. I don't have a pair but they seem very popular.

I feel like any kind of well made chelsea boot is really versatile and long-lasting. You can wear them under a pantsuit for a classier look or under something casual as a chunky-but-elegant boot. I have a local leather brand that are lasting well but I know Doc Martens also makes a chelsea boot, and lots of other brands.

I bought a pair of Thursday boot company Chelsea style boots for iowa winters. So far, very comfortable and good year welt I believe!

I second the Chelsea Boot for versatility and comfort. The Timberland Chelseas I bought about 5 years ago still look and feel great, even after heavy wear. If you want to get the most out of them, clean and apply a weather protectant to them at the end of each season, and repeat throughout the wear season as needed. Mine are suede so I regularly brush them too.

I recently got these Chelsea boots from vagabond Chelsea bootsthought they’d be hard to wear for the first time and need some time to break in but they were incredibly comfortable for me the first time wearing it! And the price isn’t that ridiculous too
