This. We have had a Miele for the last 15 years and still works like a dream.

The entry level products are Chinese made, I'd stay away from those.

Just make sure that bag is secure. I blew the motor on one and it was about 700 to fix.

Got someone’s old one for free. It literally changed the scale of what i assume to be “vacuumable” after it cleared out a gap in my floor the depth and width for my pinky to fit. No other vacuum over the years has done more than take a little off the top.

I read this Reddit 10 years ago!! I bought the Miele as a result and never looked back. In fact it’s what turned me onto Reddit to begin with.
