Looking for a thin and minimalistic wallet that is durable and sturdy. As for the pen, I don’t mind too much what it is as long as it has good refills that go into it. No problem in spending a decent amount of money as I’ll be using these products for a while.

I have quite a few Cross pens. Some I got from my grandpa that he had for 30+ years and I can still get refills no problem. I’ve also had a Louis Vuitton bifold wallet that I’ve carried 15+ years and it’s just now showing a bit of wear but nothing that affects the look or function.

Their Tech3+ is a new favorite of mine. Sturdier than I expected for a multifunction. The capacative stylus at the top is genius. It rides around in my pocket with keys, but is impervious to scratches, unlike other items.

Popov Leather is my go to. It’s only aged with grace and style, the patina looks awesome.

Big skinny. I've had mine for over 10 years. Made out of leather and parachute fabric. Super durable, thin, and very functional.

Lamy for the pen. They are known for fountain pens, but if that is not your thing they do also offer rollerballs and ballpoint. You can use their refills or a converter, which will allow you to use any bottled fountain pen ink. They have a variety of price points and are made in Germany.

I like my Fisher pen. Given to me by a dear friend, it’s simply the best writing implement I’ve ever used. Solid stainless steel. The pressurized ink lets me use every last drop smoothly. And refills are cheap by mail or Amazon. I’ve been using it for over 4 years now, and I expect to use it the rest of my life.

I use a Ridge Wallet. I have had mine for over 5 years now, still no signs of failing but if it ever does I can get replacement parts.

Portland Leather. They have a factory seconds page that is still fully warrantied, but had some cosmetic issue. Seconds are significantly cheaper - I have a wallet, passport holder, and got the missus a tote bag from the seconds and legitimately can't find the defect.

You do have to lurk if you want a specific style from the seconds, inventory comes and goes.
