Go with natural latex, not memory foam.

"What is memory foam made of? Memory foam consists mainly of polyurethane with additional chemicals that increase its viscosity and density. It is often referred to as "viscoelastic" polyurethane foam, or low-resilience polyurethane foam (LRPu)."

"What is polyurethane? Polyurethane is a plastic material, which exists in various forms. It can be tailored to be either rigid or flexible, and is the material of choice for a broad range of end-user applications such as: insulation of refrigerators and freezers. building insulation. cushioning for furniture."

In other words, memory foam is basically a petroleum product.

Consider a buckwheat hull pillow. They are firm but mold to your head, and cool your head. I don't have a brand for you, but I love mine.

Also consider getting a waterproof cover on that pillow if you drool or sweat a lot while sleeping. I have a hybrid buckwheat and shredded memory foam pillow that I otherwise still love after 3 years but it'll be shameful if and when a woman ever sees it since it looks like the typical rotten yellow pillow that you need to throw away and I didn't get the cover for it. Plus if I do want to wash it, it's a pain in the ass to take all of the hulls out, wash, then put them back in. Great pillow, just not worth the effort to clean. Get a waterproof cover.

Huge fan of Avacado mattress and their pillows. Not cheap but worth it imo.

I use a memory foam pillow I boughtfrom a Amazon bedding seller years ago except it is a cylinder. I really like the cylinder. Trouble is nobody makes a cotton pillowcase for it so I have to make my own.

We've had Bio-Soy memory foam pillows for the last ten years. Changed from queen/std size to King last year, only because King were not available. Awesome pillows.

Edit:. It's soy based latex with a bamboo covering.

I've slept on this for 18 months and it's one of the best I've ever had. Mkicesky Cooling Memory Foam Contour Pillow. Funky shape but good for the way I sleep.
