I was going to say crocs, then I read your line about no crocs, but I'm still going to say crocs.

My pair is about 13-15 years old or so, still in perfect condition with daily usage.

Haha I knew someone would! My wife loves them, and I've tried them. The sole is weird with its little dots! And they have holes in them! I got her the fur lined ones and tried those too, but they squeak! Drives me insane. Crocs are definitely out.
