I think you'd be good with a clock from pretty much any real company (eg not a generic Amazon seller). Sharp, RCA, and Westclox all have some offerings on Amazon that would work well. Despite how it may seem, even cheap modern electronics can last a really long time when they're as straightforward and bare bones as a clock. There's just not much to go wrong with them and we've been making them with few changes for decades.
