Thx for the rec! ^^
L hiver au nord de la France est si terrible ?
No, it's not :)
Sneakers are just not enough for temperature range from 0 to -10 celsius
What about palladium’s? Weren’t they originally French combat boots? They look good too.
I don't know anything about shoe types since I usually wear sneakers and don't care about anything else, but thanks for recommendation, palladium shoes look very nice and I would consider buying them if I'll see a pair! ^^
consider Salomon Quest 4D 3 GTX Hiking Boots? they're not technically combat boots but we wore them in winter afghanistan with the US Army. they're nearly water proof and have great maneuverability. salomon is a french brand so you should be able to find a shop that carries them easily.
Nothing to add, just like your username.
I love my RedWings. Definitely built to last, as advertised. My burgundy iron rangers look like combat boots. https://www.redwingshoes.com/heritage/womens/iron-ranger/. 12 month warranty. I notice the reviews for the women’s boot are that they don’t seem as high quality as the men’s—so I recommend the men’s shop if you can find your size. https://www.redwingshoes.com/heritage/mens/iron-ranger/
Not sure about winter combat styling but I'd take a look at Sorel.
Thx!
In france you can go to "surplus militaire", it's a type of stores that sells military equipments. You will find there combats boots, they are brands like Lowa, Magnum etc..
But be aware that depending on models combat boots might be very heavy and not very comfortable... Hiking boots could be a better choice 😉
Thanks a lot!
Go to a store that sells work gear for construction. Much more comfortable. If you decide on leather you can buy beeswax or something to keep them dry.
Thanks for the tip! :)
I just bought the Fly London Medi boot, which is one of their most popular styles. Super comfortable, waterproof, and the style you are looking for. Highly recommend.

I’m not sure if any of your stores carry Uggs. But these are black combat boot style ones. I’ve been wearing them for the last 5 winters in Canada. They have good traction and they are nice and warm. https://www.theshoecompany.ca/en/ca/product/ugg-womens-kesey-winter-boot/169104205?utm_source=google&utm_medium=PLA&utm_campaign=TSC_PLA_AlwaysOn_PMax&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrP6nzNDN-wIVUSqtBh2e3AhVEAQYASABEgKDafD_BwE
