the lid is crucial for insulation for yetis. Test again with lids on both and report back for science? I am curious because I have always been satisfied with yeti, besides the price tag. Always looking for other vacuum insulated cups and such because from what I understand that's what really helps. Found some vacuum insulated cups but the base isn't vacuumed, so they float upside down when submerged, and they don't work as well because of that air bubble but still work okay.

That was tested with the lids on both. I think the Yetis lid is where it loses so much heat because it is a single layer piece.

Bruh, the day before he did the test he left the lids off both to get their internal temp the same as the ambient temp. During the test both lids were on.

The Yeti lid compared to the Zori is a joke, like a literal joke.
The zori lids are several inches thick
