Everlane has some amzing, durable, basics that are going on 3 Canadian winters for me now. Just ordered a Pima Cotton turtleneck during their sale along with a few longsleeves, and I plan to layer them under thicker sweaters when temperatures will hit -20°C and up! Great buys! If your climate is even colder than QC, I would suggest wool base layers from Icebreaker ir Smartwool ! I have a few pairs of their gear and use them almost daily when I go on walks!
