knee high heeled boots

I'm looking for a pair of simple black leather knee high heeled boots. Something dressy, not really rugged or western. I was looking at these boots from DuoBoots, but I just found out the soles are glued, not stitched, and I have some doubts about durability. I'm having a hard time finding what I need and I would love any recommendations.

I'd look at brands here that are considered BIFL. I bought a pair of RedWings (gloria model) that, if treated well should last forever. I would not buy from Nordstrom Rack/Marshalls/DSW etc. you really need to research the brand and make sure they either have repair policies or a strong reputation for high quality

La Canadienne. They're marketed as being snow-tolerant but I live in a city that just gets rainy in the winter. Many dressy boots, even those made from quality leather, get worn-looking when worn outside in the rain which sort of defeats the purpose. My La Canadiennes have kept going - and looking dressy - season after season with regular polishing and minor repairs. Unfortunately many durable features popular on long-lasting masculine shoes like Goodyear welts just aren't considered appropriate for a dressy, feminine pair of heeled boots. La Canadienne boots may be over $500 new and full price but I often find new pairs available on some sites for as low as $200.

DSW does not sell anything I would consider BIFL. They are basically an outlet and fast fashion

I live not far from one of the physical stores and have bought several pairs there of different well-known brands that I'm still wearing many years later. I don't buy fast fad fashion, far from it. My Clark's that I bought there will certainly be my BIFL shoes. Same for my Naturalizers. That was before Clark's sold out to China.

Sure, if a person is hard on shoes and don't take care of them they will not be BIFLs.

You finding it to be true or not is irrelevant. BIFL footwear is based on construction and very rarely just native hardiness. Zero consumers stores sell a 100% complete line of BIFL footwear. Most makers don't sell a 100% complete line of BIFL footwear. So saying, fictionally, "Go buy Brand X" is pretty ignorant. So saying, fictionally, "Go buy from Store X" is doubly ignorant. If you have specific advice for a specific shoe, by all means, state it. But stating for someone to go to a store which sells probably 100 boots from 40 different brands is anti-helpful. I know on the men's side of DSW, they sell zero BIFL anything save the Clark's Bushacre II which, though not featuring BIFL construction is just abnormally hardy.
